In working closely with people caring for children with relapsed or refractory high-risk neuroblastoma, we heard time and time again that social media was the #1 source of information for caregivers in this community. While caregivers trust their child's oncologists and want their perspectives, it is also vital for them to hear from those who are sharing their experiences.
In an effort to meet our audience where they are, we created DANYELZA Caregiver Connection. This program connects caregivers so that they can share stories and information about navigating relapsed or refractory high-risk neuroblastoma treatment. Our goal is to empower caregivers to partner with their physicians when making treatment decisions for their child, as well as to provide a comforting community for these families. Through educational webinars, a Facebook page, and other communications, we have created a space for caregivers to learn together and support one another throughout the treatment journey.
