it begins with breath
i love sharing the tools of yoga with others so that they feel empowered to heal themselves physically and emotionally. for me, breath is the most important tool.
my teaching philosophy is not about helping people achieve certain shapes with their body or stay in a meditation for longer or keep up with a “flow.” it’s about helping people connect with their breath, expand its capacity, and maintain that connection as they move, meditate, write, dance, or whatever it is they are called to do.

additional offerings
yoga for all
i believe that everyone should have access to yoga. my classes and private sessions are sliding scale and welcome to people of all experience levels and abilities. my hope is to create a space for the community to move, breathe, and reflect together. as a teacher, i provide gentle guidance and empower my students to explore each class in a way that best suits their current needs.
my training
I received my Yoga Alliance-registered, 200-hour yoga teacher training in October of 2019. I traveled to the Algarve in the south of Portugal to train with L Farrah Furtado, receiving my certificate through Vibe Yoga. I also made some really amazing friends along the way from all over the world!
